The group of Peter, Paul, and Mary has been part of my growing-up during my teen years after my first experience in the US, staying for three months in the summer of 1967, at the age of 15. This group, Joan Baez (seen in concert in Monterey, CA) Pete Seeger, and other folk-singers were very engaged in the civil rights movements and the fight against the US involvement in Vietnam.
I learned American English with their songs, and I am saddened by her death.
A part of my youthful memories is torn from me... Another sign of the time that passes and does not come back...
